Grapes: Shiraz 60%; Cinsaut 29%; Mourvèdre 11%

Grapes were hand-harvested and once it arrived at the Kleinood winery, it was sorted by hand, de-stemmed and gently pressed.
Fermentation occurred in stainless steel tanks at 25-28°C for 14 days.
Matured in French oak barrels for 18 months.

Kleinood De Herder

  • A sweet entry, with round velvety tannins and a youthful freshness.

    On the nose: fresh cherry, ripe blackberry, with hints of thyme, black pepper, vanilla and cigar box. The medium bodied weight gives way to a sweet, spicey and fruitful finish.
