Only premium free-run juice was used to create this unwooded wine. To ensure maximum fruit and flavour retention, depth of palate and a beautiful mouthfeel, clarified juice was cold fermented and left on lees for several months before fining and stabilisation.
Alvi's Drift Viognier
This glowing, pale straw-coloured wine boasts intense aromas of apricots, with hints of rose petals. With lingering flavours of apricot and sun-drenched peach, this wine has a well-rounded mouthfeel with a medium body that gently brings the fruit to rest in the mouth. Truly a white wine for red wine lovers.
It can be enjoyed immediately, or aged for another two years.
Serve this wine with spicy foods, such as Thai green curry, roast pork, chicken or fish. It will also complement smoked salmon or snoek pâté.
