The grapes for these wines come from the unassuming region of Piekenierskloof, which lies about 80km inland from the west coast. Unirrigated bush vines are planted in deep sandy soils and the elevated sites have a warm climate with cooling evening winds. The resulting wines offer complexity and finesse in an approachable style.
Floral notes of honeysuckle combine with fresh pineapple on the nose. Medium-bodied, with well-integrated acidity that lifts rich flavours of lemon meringue, preserved peaches, papaya, and honeycomb.
A creamy mid-palate with a coating mouthfeel, and a long fruity finish.
