This vintage was characterised by low yields and early ripening, resulting in wines of excellent concentration and marked freshness, particularly in the whites. Late-season rain delayed ripening on reds, leading to challenges, but increased flavour development and elegance.

The Sauvignon Blanc was fermented wild in stainless steel tanks and left on its lees for seven months before bottling.

  • Signature blackcurrant and flint aromas are boldly prominent with subtler notes of dried flowers and orange blossom. The palate is racy and fresh, with litchi and green pineapple, leading towards a saline, nori-like character. The zip and tang of fresh limes makes for a mouthwatering finish.
