Jakkalsvlei is situated at the foot of the Langeberg Mountain in the southern Cape which is 40km from the Indian Ocean. The farm produces roughly 300 000 liters annually from 50Ha of operating vineyards.

Jakkalsvlei Lord Jackal Cabernet Franc
The wine displays an intense ruby red colour. The bouquet is reminiscent of blackcurrant, dark cherries, notes of spice and pencil shavings backed by a pleasant herbal undertone.
The palate is bold and packed with dark fruits with a finish that is complex with firm but silky tannins. Decanting is recommended to express the true essence of this wine with a cellaring potential of 10 years.
