Although dry growing conditions prevailed during the 2018 growing season and ripening period, we were blessed with a healthy fruit profile. The wine again displays perfect varietal typicity with great intensity of fruit flavour and a fleshy mouthfeel. Fermentation took place in stainless steel under controlled temperature conditions prior to blending.
Porcupine Ridge Sauvignon Blanc
The nose is fresh and intense with an abundance of granadilla, pineapple, ripe fig, melon and citrus aromas. The mid-palate is gentle and round, showing juicy tropical fruit and pure, gooseberry and greengage flavours with vibrant, yet balanced, acidity. The wine is refreshing, crisp, focused and it lingers with a lemony aftertaste and hints of angelica, nettles and green figs ? perfect for summer.
