The original First Lady, Norma Ratcliffe was (literally) the first lady winemaker to operate commercially in South Africa. 
All grapes are tank-fermented, allowing the vibrant, rich, ripe blackcurrant and plum fruit to sit front-and-centre. The wine was then aged in very old oak for 18 months, which gives the wine time to integrate, but also ensures that nothing obscures that fresh profile of black fruit, berry compote, dark chocolate, and dried herbs.
